Off-Floor Members have the right to access and trade on the Trading Platform off the Exchange Floor, subject to all applicable laws and regulations. There are 50 Off-Floor Memberships for sale and these are offered to selected qualified applicants at a fixed price. Off-Floor Members are entitled to preferential transaction fees and margin rates. An Off-Floor Member does not have to be physically located in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) - DME Off-Floor Members may execute contracts from other jurisdictions providing those jurisdictions allow such access.

All Off-Floor Members are required to be authorised, recognised or otherwise permitted by the DFSA to conduct the activities which they intend to conduct while trading on the Exchange. They must also complete a DME Off-Floor Member application form, hold an active futures account with a Clearing Member, and comply with the DME Rulebook. The selection process is conducted by the DME Membership Committee in line with the procedures set out in Chapter 2 of the DME Rulebook.
