Clearing Members guarantee the financial performance of trades by their customers. All DME Equity Members, Off Floor Members and other market participants are required to maintain an account with a DME Clearing Member.

All trading in DME contracts is cleared through the AA+ rated NYMEX clearing house and therefore, all DME Clearing Members must also be NYMEX Clearing Members. All current NYMEX Clearing Members are are eligible to apply to become a DME Clearing Member, subject to compliance with relevant DME and DFSA requirements.
