The Dubai Mercantile Exchange announced today that its Chief Marketing Officer Jerald David will be leaving the DME in August 2008 as part of his plans to return to the United States.

Succession Planning Announcement from the DME
Nearing completion of a successful first year of trading, the DME today announced its succession plan, readying its management team for the next stage in its development. Gary King, CEO of the Exchange since the early days of the company, will hand over to Thomas Leaver, currently COO of the DME, in the coming months through a phased transition, ensuring full continuity in the execution of the DME's strategy and day-to-day operations.

DME Brent and Oman Crude Oil Financials Contracts to Commence Trading n the Dubai Mercantile Exchange on June 2nd 2008
The Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME) today announced that as of trade date 02 JUNE 2008, customers of the DME will be able to trade the Exchange’s two new financially settled futures contracts for Brent and Oman crude oil in addition to its benchmark DME Oman Crude Oil Futures Contract.

The Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME) today announced that it has won the “Exchange Newcomer of the Year” 2008 Award from FOW, a leading global derivatives magazine. The prize was announced in London on 7 April 2008 at a prestigious industry event attended by leading figures and institutions from the derivatives and risk management industry and exchange world.

Dubai Mercantile Exchange To Launch Two New Contracts
The Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME) today announced that it will launch two new financially settled contracts for Brent and Oman crude oil in the very near future, subject to obtaining regulatory approvals. This follows the successful launch of the Exchange’s benchmark Oman Crude Oil Futures Contract last year amid record volumes and open interest in January.

Dubai Mercantile Exchange Starts New Year With New Records
The Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME) today announced a strong start to 2008 with the setting of a new monthly volume record and achieving the highest level of open interest in its benchmark Oman Crude Oil Futures Contract since the launch of the Exchange in June of last year.
