Trading Hours

Markets trade electronically, opening at 6:00 PM, prevailing time in New York and closing at 5:15 PM New York time the next day, Sundays through Fridays – the same as the NYMEX trading hours. Singapore is 13 hours ahead of standard time in New York and Dubai is 9 hours ahead. The time difference is reduced by one hour when Daylight Savings Time is in effect in New York. Neither Dubai nor Singapore observe Daylight Savings Time.

Settlement

A daily settlement price is published by the DME at 4:30 PM Singapore time.

The DME also publish a "post close" price at 2:30 PM in New York, which coincides with the close of the NYMEX trading floor. The DME post-close price is used by Clearing Members and the Exchange to calculate the daily initial and variation margins on all NYMEX and DME contracts.
