Abdullah Al-Harthy
Abdullah Al-Harthy is the Senior Asset Allocator for the State General Reserve
Fund, Ministry of Finance, Oman,
responsible for maintaining and developing models for global asset allocation
and economic tracking, monitoring world markets and risk management.
After graduation from University, Mr Al-Harthy trained as a Financial Analyst at
the Ministry of Finance, Oman, and became
Senior Asset Allocator in 2003. In 2005 he was assigned as a Coordinator for the
Working Committee of the newly established Government investment arm, the Oman
Investment Fund, a post he held until October 2006.
Mr Al-Harthy was awarded the CFA charter in 2004, and is a
member of the US CFA Institute. He has a Bachelors in Finance from
Sultan Qaboos University,
Oman.
Mr al-Harthy is an independent director at the DME.
