Dubai Mercantile Exchange Announces Details of May 19, 2007 Production Testing for DME Direct™ and ClearPortŪ Clearing for DME Contracts
In preparation for the June 1, 2007 launch of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME) and further to the production test successfully held on May 12, 2007 the Exchange will hold a second production test on Saturday, May 19, 2007 from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm Eastern Daylight Time. This will be the final production test planned prior to the June 1 launch.
The test on May 19 will provide customers of the DME with an opportunity to ensure the proper connectivity to DME Direct™ as well as offer a time to practice trading the DME products and test select functionality in a production trading environment. It is strongly suggested you make every effort to participate in this event. In order to ensure that your set-up can be confirmed it is essential that you complete both of the following activities on May 19:
o Connect successfully to DME Direct™ / NYMEX ClearPortŪ Trading
o Enter orders into DME Direct™ / NYMEX ClearPortŪ Trading using the full DME product slate
Please note that DME Direct™ connectivity will be required for this session. If you do not have (or know if you have) DME Direct™ connectivity, please contact your Clearing Member for help.
